After many years of supporting global Christian workers and participating in short term trips, Jan and her husband followed God’s call to make a radical change in their lives. A main role for Jan in Chiang Mai has been in the area of supporting Christian workers, both those who work locally and those from other countries in Asia who come to Chiang Mai to birth. With over 30 years of experience in maternal health nursing, she is blessed to able to help in the areas of birth education classes, labor, and breast feeding support, and with other related issues. Jan enjoys meeting and coming alongside of people in their good and their difficult times.

Family background:

“Rog and I have lived in 5 different states, moving to Chiang Mai after almost 18 years in Kalamazoo, MI.  Our married journey together began for us in 1971.  We have 3 grown children and several grandchildren, who enrich our lives tremendously.”
