Post-it note prayer 1: What do you most desire from God?

“If you, then, though you are evil, know how to give good gifts to your children, how much more will your Father in heaven give good gifts to those who ask him!”

                                                                        Matthew 10:11

• What do you want to ask God for? 
• What do you most desire from God? 

Write your request/desire on a post-it note paper.   As you write the paper, pray for God to make you more aware that  of this desire in you. 

You can write more than one paper.  When you have written on your paper place these around the station.

Post-it note prayer 2: Holy Ground

God said to Moses that where he was standing was holy ground.  Ask God to make you aware of the holy ground where He has placed you, or the holy ground among the people He has called you to. 

You can write more than one paper. 

As you write the paper, pray for God to make you more aware that these places/opportunities/people are holy to Him. 

E.g.      I am standing on holy ground in the university classroom.  Here we are, God.  The places we are standing are holy Ground.

When you have written on your paper place these around the station.

Items needed for this station 

• Post-it notes
• Pens
• Cross (optional)

Setup of this station

This station can be adapted to many settings – as simple or as complex as you wish. Here are some ideas:

• Place a cross in the centre of a table with piles of post-it notes around it. Get people to write on the post-it notes and place them on the cross.
• Get people to stick their notes on the wall and then give people time to read each other’s prayers.
• At the end you can read each note out as a prayer and let the group hear these.
