Kurt has over 22 years of experience as a registered clinical counselor in a variety of settings. For the past 15 years he has served as the Director of the Wellness Center at Trinity Western University in Langley, BC where he is responsible for the administration and supervision of all clinical staff and services.
Kurt and his wife Glenna have felt a call to missions for sometime and God has graciously opened the door for Kurt to take a year leave of absence from the university in order to serve at The Well Member Care Center. His hope for the year is to make himself available to be used of God to support and equip people to live a life of “wholeness”.

Family Background:
Kurt’s parents were in pastoral ministry for almost 50 years. Growing up in a Christian home with parents who modeled a love for God and people had a significant impact on Kurt and from a very early age he felt a call towards ministry. Kurt and his wife Glenna have been actively involved in church ministry through leading care groups, teaching Sunday school, serving as an elder as well as chairman of the missions committee for their home church Mountain Park Community Church in Abbotsford, BC. Kurt and Glenna have been blessed with four kids ages 11-18.
